When you are building a company you often look back at the very beginning on who were the ones that made it initially successful. Early on in The Garland Group it was just Gary, Henry, and I. We had to be everything to everybody. Sales, Marketing, Consultant, Chief Bottle Washer, you name it! We did it. Gary was as big of a part of the success of our company as anyone. So I am sad to say that Gary has decided to move on and finish his career where he spent many years before consulting, the oil and gas business.
Gary has always been one that we could lean on in time of need and as we've grown as a company he's acted as a mentor for many of our upcoming consultants. I was sad to hear his decision to move on but I completely understand. You can't knock anyone from going back to what they really loved. We joked with Gary about his stories from his previous work because every time he tells a story 'from the oil patch' it's enviably from some far off land and its never the same place twice. He obviously lived a extremely interesting and fulfilling life and we are certainly sad to see Gary go and wish him the absolutely best. Thanks for all the hard work Gary, please keep in touch!
