1) True Multi-Factor Authentication: On my BofA account, I use SafePass to get text messages sent to my phone, that I have to input back into the website everytime I am paying bills online or adding a new payee. Finally a true Multi-Factor Authentication that requires something I know (password) and something I have (phone). 2) Mobile Banking: I have an iPhone, and I check my account more than I should. So sue me. We are going to more and more banks now that have online banking applications for their phones. I've seen Q2's product implemented well at a couple of our banks. Other community bankers are using their core providers' solution, such as GoDough from Jack Henry. 3) Personal Financial Management: My bank and credit card online banking applications both have portfolios of where I spend my money (I eat out too much). Now, Jwaala, is a firm that will let community banks give this type of personal financial management to their customers. I think it is one of those products that will be standard for every bank to have in the future. 4) Deposits: Thats right, you can deposit from your house now. USAA's Deposit @ Home will let you deposit from consumer scanners. Mitek Systems will even let you make deposits from your cell phone. Woah!!! I was just impressed last night when I was able to deposit a check at an ATM and the image of the check was printed on my receipt, as well as able to be viewed on the screen of the ATM. Okay, be looking for all these comming to community FI's soon!
