We at The Garland Group have arranged a BarCampBankDallas to take place on June 21 & 22 in Frisco, TX. If you don’t know what a BarCamp event is, here’s the definition from the BarCamp.org website:
A BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants.
The BarCampBankDallas that we’re holding is basically an idea session open to all bankers in the DFW area and beyond. Participants are encouraged to bring their ideas to the table, be it by holding your own session in an open time slot or just sharing your thoughts with others during the discussions.
BarCampBankDallas is going to be held at the American Bank of Texas Building in Frisco, TX, on June 21 & 22, 2008. There are plenty of sights to see and places to stay in Frisco, so pencil BarCampBankDallas into your calendar now!
The event costs $25 per person, and is open for registration now at the BarCampBankDallas site. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for $200.
For more information on this event or on becoming a sponsor, please email brad@thegarlandgroup.net. We look forward to seeing you there!
